En Pointe for Ava is a nonprofit organization created in memory of our 14-year-old daughter, Ava, who passed away in 2022 from brain cancer.

Ava's love for dance inspired En Pointe Against Brain Cancer - a fundraiser to support our mission to increase access to treatment for families with children diagnosed with life-threatening brain cancer. Pediatric brain cancer is severely underfunded with only a few treatment and clinical trial options which makes getting to treatment very difficult, requiring frequent travel along with a huge financial burden. Against Brain Cancer will bring together professional dancers from City Ballet of San Diego and The Rosin Box Project along with aspiring young dancers for a beautiful evening showcasing their talent, their love for dance, their dedication to someone they know who is a cancer warrior, and the need to get children to treatment.
